The problem
What you teach your agent in a session is easy to lose. Next time you may explain the same branch names, the same commit format or the same build step again, and a mistake that cost you time can happen again.
What it does
Finds what is worth keeping
Looks for steps you repeated or re-explained, corrections and the rule behind them, procedures that worked, conventions you stated, and mistakes that cost time.
Filters hard
Keeps a candidate only if it is likely to come up again, is something your agent would not get right by default, and can be described without this session's one-off details. If nothing passes, it says so instead of inventing skills.
Checks the skills you already have
Looks in your agent's project and user skill folders, and suggests extending an existing skill rather than adding a near-duplicate.
Up to five clear proposals
Each one has a short name, one sentence on what it does and when to use it, the evidence from the chat, and a rough size: a small rule or a full procedure.
Nothing is saved until you choose
No files are created before you pick a proposal. Each draft SKILL.md is shown to you before it is saved, with personal details, client names, internal paths and anything confidential removed.
Installation
One command
Install directly into your project.
Open Terminal in your project folder, then run this command. No ZIP, moving files, or prompt needed.

Works on macOS, Linux, and Windows through WSL or Git Bash. The installer checks destinations and stops if existing files conflict.

Expected workflow
- 01Notices you explained the branch naming and commit message format three times, and that a build step was forgotten twice.
- 02Proposes commit-conventions as a small rule and pre-deploy-checklist as a full procedure, with the evidence for each.
- 03Notes that a one-off bug fix from the session is not worth a skill.
- 04Waits for you to choose.
How it works
The skill rereads the whole conversation, collects candidates, filters them and checks them against the skills you already have. It then presents at most five proposals, best first.
When you pick one, your agent drafts the SKILL.md and shows it to you before saving it. Facts that belong in a project note rather than a skill are left out.
Safety and limitations
Required permissions
- Read the conversation.
- List your agent's project and user skill folders.
- Write a new SKILL.md, only after you pick a proposal and have seen the draft.
Limitations
- It never deletes or overwrites a skill you already have.
- It only works from what happened in the conversation. For a skill on a topic that never came up, write that skill directly.
- On a very short session with nothing repeated, it says so instead of proposing skills.
- Client names, internal paths and secrets are kept out of proposals and drafts, but read a draft yourself before you share it.
